Ok you guys, if you haven't already tried our new Lip and Cheek Rouge, you had better get on it!
I promise, this is a game-changer. It seems kind of funny because it is a new version of a vintage product, but it really is revolutionary.
There is a video about it in our Instagram highlights, if you want to see how to apply it. But I will share on here a few of my thoughts on application.
I advise using a brush to apply it to your cheeks. I am usually the type of person who uses fingers to blend if I can. But this product is the exception for me.
I find that because it is such a highly pigmented product, using a brush blends it onto the cheeks so much better than fingertips. You simply dab the brush into the product, and sweep it onto the cheeks. Easy as that! It blends so well.
As far as lip application goes, it will work just as well to use a brush or fingertips. But you will get more precision with our lip brush.
Now, I have been asked if it is an appropriate product for more mature skin. Will it settle into fine lines? NO! Not at all. Especially if you apply it with a light hand (and build the colour, if you want more).
Since it is a cream, it is perfect for mature skin. It blends onto the cheekbones for a flawless, slightly dewy look. Generally powders are more likely to settle into fine lines and wrinkles and accentuate them. But even with powders, I encourage using a light hand to start, and then to build the colour, as that will help the product to stay put and not settle.
This product is in fact, great for all ages and skin types. It isn't oily, so it will work for young or oily skin. It is matte (not shimmery), so it looks wonderful on any age of person.
